SELF-ESTEEM AS PERSONALITY CRITERION OF GRADUATES' COMPETITIVE ABILITY

The article deals with the “competitive ability” concept from socio-economical, psychological and pedagogical points of view. The paper is aimed at identifying personality self-esteem in the system of value-oriented and motivational parameters of the competitive graduate. Methods of research are: polling, diagnostic testing. The research exposed self-acceptance of achievement-oriented qualities as one of the factors of the graduate's competitive ability development. The exposed factor can be used for identifying potential competitive ability criteria and applied when creating proper pedagogical environment in the higher education system.
