Cтатья посвящена рассмотрению и анализу интеграции формата онлайн-читательского клуба в академическую среду для организации самостоятельной работы студентов вуза. Предмет анализа – изучение, формирование и развитие составляющих компонентов понятия эмоциональный интеллект, трактуемого как способность распознавать, понимать свои собственные эмоции и эмоции других людей и управлять ими. Проблема развития эмоционального интеллекта через онлайн-читательский клуб имеет междисциплинарный характер и рассматривается через призму психологии, лингвокультурологии, когнитивного литературоведения и педагогики. Цель – теоретически обосновать и практически апробировать модель онлайн-читательского клуба, в рамках которой чтение и коллективное обсуждение художественных текстов рассматриваются как способ фасилитации групповой рефлексии в дистанционном формате. Данный способ основан на принципах чтения как эмпатического моделирования и на лингвокультуро­логических механизмах эмотивности текста. В исследовании приняли участие магистранты Кемеровского государственного университета, обучающиеся по программе «Иностранные языки в профессиональной коммуникации». Первый читательский марафон онлайн-читательского клуба проводился с 1 октября 2023 г. по 1 мая 2024 г., второй – с 1 октября 2025 г. до конца мая 2026 г. В результате определено, что в контексте образования онлайн-читательские клубы становятся важным инструментом, сочетая традиционные методы интерпретации текста с цифровыми технологиями. Выявлено, что студенты, которые участвуют в онлайн-читательском клубе, гораздо активнее работают с текстами самостоятельно, причем далеко за пределами учебной программы.

Online reading clubs can be integrated into the university environment as a means of organizing students’ independent work. Emotional intelligence is the ability to recognize and understand one’s own emotions and those of others. Online reading clubs can serve as a means of developing emotional intelligence in university students. In this research, this issue is treated as interdisciplinary and studied from the perspectives of psychology, cultural linguistics, cognitive literary studies, and pedagogy. A model of an online reading club was theoretically substantiated and practically tested as an academic environment where reading and group discussion facilitate group reflection in a remote format. The approach was based on the principles of reading as empathic modeling, as well as on the linguistic and cultural mechanisms of text emotivity. The study involved Master’s Degree students majoring in Foreign Languages in Professional Communication from Kemerovo State University. The first online reading club marathon was held from October 1, 2023, to May 1, 2024, and the second one lasted from October 1, 2025, to the end of May 2026. The online reading club proved to be an important tool since it combined traditional methods of text interpretation with digital technologies. Its members became much more active readers, expanding their reading experience far beyond the curriculum.
